Disclaimers & Regulatory Disclosures
Plain-language disclosures about what Accord Investments & Finance is, what we do, and the risks that apply to every financial product we distribute or advise on.
1. General
The information on this website is for general information and education only. Nothing here is an offer, solicitation or personalised recommendation to buy or sell any financial product. Please speak to an advisor and read all product documents before making any financial decision.
2. Distribution, not investment advisory
Accord Investments & Finance distributes financial products through the NJ Wealth (NJ India Invest Pvt. Ltd.) platform and is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor. We are not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser (RIA) or Research Analyst; any guidance we provide is incidental to distribution. We may earn commission or brokerage on products distributed through us. Commission disclosures are available to clients on request, as required by SEBI and AMFI regulations.
3. Mutual funds
Mutual Fund investments are subject to market risks. Please read all scheme-related documents carefully before investing. NAVs of schemes can go up or down depending on factors and forces affecting the securities market. Past performance is not indicative of future returns. No mutual fund scheme guarantees returns or capital protection. In case of any conflict, the scheme documents (SID, SAI, KIM) prevail over anything stated on this website.
4. PMS & AIF
Portfolio Management Services and Alternative Investment Funds are offered through tie-ups with SEBI-registered Portfolio Managers and AIF managers. Accord's role is limited to referral, distribution and advisory support — we are not the portfolio manager or fund manager. Regulatory minimum investments apply (currently ₹50 lakh for PMS and ₹1 crore for AIF). Returns are not guaranteed, and SEBI registration of a manager does not assure performance. Please read the manager's disclosure document, fee schedule and agreement carefully before investing.
5. Securities market
Investments in the securities market are subject to market risks. Read all related documents carefully before investing. Registration granted by SEBI, membership of exchanges and certification from NISM in no way guarantee the performance of any intermediary or provide any assurance of returns to investors.
6. Insurance (IRDAI)
Insurance is offered on an advisory basis only — we do not underwrite risk. Insurance is the subject matter of solicitation. Coverage, benefits, exclusions and claim settlement are governed solely by the insurer's policy wording; please read the sales brochure and policy documents carefully before concluding a sale. Premiums vary by insurer, age, health and other factors. Tax benefits are subject to change in tax laws. IRDAI is not involved in activities like selling insurance policies, announcing bonus or investment of premiums. Members of the public receiving such phone calls are requested to lodge a police complaint.
7. Fixed income, FDs & government schemes
Interest rates on fixed deposits, bonds and small-savings schemes are set by the respective issuers or the Government of India and change without notice. Rates and figures shown on this website are indicative — always verify current rates before investing. Corporate deposits and bonds carry credit risk; higher rates generally indicate higher risk.
8. REITs & listed products
Units of REITs are listed securities subject to market and liquidity risk. Distributions are not assured and depend on the performance of the underlying assets.
9. GIFT City & global investments
Investments through GIFT City (IFSC) are governed by IFSCA regulations, and overseas investments are subject to RBI's Liberalised Remittance Scheme limits and the laws of the relevant jurisdiction. International investments carry currency risk in addition to market risk.
10. Tax
Tax information on this website is for general awareness only and is not professional tax advice. Tax laws change frequently and their application depends on individual facts. Please consult your Chartered Accountant or tax advisor.
11. Third-party websites, logos & trademarks
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content. All product and company logos and names shown on this website are trademarks of their respective owners and are displayed only to indicate the providers whose products are accessible through Accord. Their display does not imply any endorsement of Accord by the provider, or of the provider by Accord.
12. KYC & investor safeguards
KYC is a one-time exercise while dealing in the securities market — once completed through a SEBI-registered intermediary, it need not be repeated when approaching another intermediary. Always deal only with registered intermediaries and verify their credentials. Never share OTPs or passwords, and never issue payment instruments in the name of individuals.
13. Grievance redressal
For any grievance, first contact us at info@accordinvestments.com or +91 79400 55025. Mutual fund grievances may be escalated to the concerned AMC, AMFI, or SEBI through the SCORES portal (scores.sebi.gov.in) and the SMART ODR portal. Insurance grievances may be escalated to the insurer's grievance cell, the IRDAI Bima Bharosa portal, or the Insurance Ombudsman.
14. Accuracy & limitation of liability
We make every effort to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but errors and omissions may occur and content may change without notice. Accord Investments & Finance accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of, or reliance on, information on this website.
